EasyJet July Sale 2026: Book Summer 2027 Flights at Record Low Prices

Martin Lewis says EasyJet's July sale on 28 July 2026 is the cheapest predictable moment for summer 2027 flights. Nearly 14 million seats to 130+ destinations. Booking tips inside.

Travel and Transportation

Between the jet fuel crisis, confusing liquid rules, and EES chaos, boarding a flight right now feels like a necessary evil before finally hitting the beach. But Martin Lewis actually has some good news for holidaymakers. The Money Saving Expert founder has just issued an 'urgent warning' for those who are already planning their summer holidays for next year — and it's actually great news.

EasyJet's huge 'Big Seat Release' opens on Tuesday, 28 July 2026, putting nearly 14 million seats across 78,000 flights up for grabs. The sale covers travel from 14 June to 26 September 2027, to more than 130 destinations including Spain, France, Italy, Greece and Turkey. If you have your eye on somewhere new for a getaway next year, tomorrow morning could be your moment.

Why Martin Lewis says this is the cheapest predictable moment

EasyJet uses a 'dynamic pricing' system, meaning the price depends on demand. More demand, the more you pay. Taking to his social media accounts on Instagram and TikTok, Lewis explained: 'So the most predictable time to get cheap flights is exactly the moment it releases the flights because there's minimum demand at that time because they weren't available beforehand.'

In a nutshell: the sooner you can buy the newly released tickets, the cheaper they'll be, as fewer people have tried to buy them, so the price hasn't been pushed up. Lewis noted that this is 'likely the cheapest predictable moment' to get EasyJet summer 2027 flights, though he added 'no guarantees'. For full info, he recommends searching for '15 EasyJet tricks – MoneySavingExpert'.

What time does the sale start?

The catch? EasyJet is keeping quiet on exactly what time those seats will be released. Lewis said: 'I don't know, EasyJet won't say. Past experience: sometimes it's six o'clock tomorrow morning, sometimes it's five o'clock, sometimes it's spread throughout the morning.' Currently a simple banner on the EasyJet website reads: 'Summer 2027.'

If you want to be first in line, set your alarm for early — historically between 5-6 AM — or plan to check repeatedly through the morning. Bargain hunters will be hovering over their laptops like it's Black Friday.

Best days to book for cheap seats

EasyJet has also offered guidance for holidaymakers trying to keep flight costs down — and it could mean rethinking when you head to the airport. The airline says that while fares can change depending on the route and season, there are still some simple ways passengers can boost their chances of landing a bargain. One key tip is to avoid locking yourself into peak weekend travel times if you can help it, with Fridays often proving more expensive due to demand.

If your schedule is flexible, consider midweek departures and returns. The combination of booking at release time and choosing a less popular travel day gives you the best shot at the lowest prices.

What destinations are included?

This sale isn't just for places nobody wants to go — it's the full catalogue of destinations. Hotspots like Spain, France, Italy, Greece and Turkey are all included, covering peak summer travel from mid-June through late September 2027. Whether you're after a beach holiday, a city break, or a family trip to the Mediterranean, the 'Big Seat Release' has you covered.

How to prepare for the sale

  • Create an EasyJet account and save your passenger details in advance.
  • Have your payment method ready — speed matters when demand is low.
  • Check the EasyJet website or app from early morning on 28 July.
  • Be flexible on dates and airports if possible.
  • Consider midweek travel for the best value.

If you're already planning your summer holidays for next year, this sale is worth your attention. As Lewis put it, this is 'the cheapest predictable moment' to get EasyJet summer 2027 flights. Set your alarm, be ready to book, and you could secure a bargain while everyone else pays more.
