The recall follows a voluntary recall by jalapeño supplier Coast Citrus Distributors, which alerted Hannaford through a manufacturer. All impacted products have been removed from store shelves.

Check your refrigerator and freezer for these items. The best-by dates range from Aug. 7 through Aug. 12. The recalled products are:

  • Beans Rice and Cheese Burrito – Item #245321, Best-By 8/7/26 – 8/11/26
  • Classic Beef Burrito – Item #245461, Best-By 8/7/26 – 8/12/26
  • Chicken Verde Burrito – Item #245451, Best-By 8/7/26 – 8/10/26
  • Chipotle Chicken Tortilla Wrap – Item #213291, Best-By 8/7/26 – 8/10/26
  • Diced Jalapeños (4/3.75 oz.) – Item #226061, Best-By 8/9/26 and 8/12/26
  • Pico de Gallo Salsa (4/7 oz.) – Item #16237, Best-By 8/9/26 – 8/12/26

Why This Recall Happened

The recall is part of a broader voluntary recall by Coast Citrus Distributors due to possible salmonella contamination in jalapeños grown in Mexico. Hannaford was alerted by a manufacturer that its jalapeño supplier had issued the recall.
