Henry Cavill's Warhammer 40K Project Gains Mike Flanagan

Games Workshop has recruited horror director Mike Flanagan to write scripts for the upcoming Warhammer 40,000 adaptations on Prime Video. Flanagan, best known for Netflix series Midnight Mass and The Haunting of Hill House, is due to begin work on scripts soon. He is also in talks to join as an executive producer and potentially showrunner, though that remains unconfirmed.

Henry Cavill, a noted Warhammer superfan, remains involved as producer and star. Production company United Artists has also been brought on board. The project is part of a long-term partnership with Amazon, struck via a licensing deal in 2024. Initial outlines are complete, and Flanagan should soon move on to script.
